About me
I bring design, art and technology together in a single practice.
I am a designer and visual artist. I have worked independently since 2010 and founded 3DRD in 2021 — an independent studio where I develop projects from the first idea to their material form.
I design objects, visual identities, animation, publications and interactive experiences. In parallel, I create original works using 3D printing, textiles, light and sound.
Approach
Structure can become ornament. Technology can become a way of thinking.
How I work
I begin with context and the question the project needs to answer. I treat the digital model as a field for experimentation and material as an active part of the process.
Idea and system
I organise content, function and visual language. I build every project as a coherent whole.
Model and experiment
I test geometry, rhythm, light, movement and the relationship between surface and structure.
Material form
I translate the solution into an object, spatial image, animation, identity or publication.
Artistic practice
I treat FDM printing as a field for experimentation.
Across different projects and collections, I create works using FDM printing, testing and experimenting with form, structure, material and scale. My practice also includes multi-module sculptural images, interactive installations, objects, unique textiles, animation and VR works. I am interested in the creative symbiosis of human and machine and in how digital tools shape physical objects.
I earned my doctorate in art in 2016 at the Faculty of Fine Arts of Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. I am an assistant professor at the Faculty of Design Arts of Bydgoszcz University of Science and Technology and a lecturer at the Faculty of Physics, Astronomy and Informatics of NCU.
