Śnieżka
3D-printed bag
22 × 23 × 8 cm
Śnieżka.
Śnieżka is a 3D-printed bag inspired by the lightness of lace ornaments and the mountain landscape.
The project began with snow forms, the symmetry of folk decoration and the delicacy of openwork structures. These motifs were not transferred literally, but transformed into an original spatial composition.
The front of the bag takes the form of an openwork relief. Varying depths, openings and subtle projections create a play of light and shadow, allowing the surface to change with the viewing angle and direction of the light.
The light monochrome palette emphasises the clarity of the form and brings out the detail of the ornament. A gold-plated metal chain and fittings introduce material contrast and give the bag the character of a contemporary accessory.
The lightness of ornament in spatial form
The design process translated inspiration from the mountain landscape and ornamental tradition into the language of digital design and 3D printing.
The bag’s construction and decorative front were designed as a coherent whole. Ornament is not merely an addition; it defines the character of the entire object.
3D-printing technology made it possible to achieve complex geometry without traditional decorative techniques. Visible material layers, openwork passages and spatial details reinforce the sense of lightness.
Śnieżka combines function with formal experimentation. It shows how digital design, craft and additive manufacturing can create a new interpretation of decoration rooted in culture and nature.

#torebki3D to cykl obiektów, w którym przetwarzam znane motywy, struktury i ornamenty, nadając im przestrzenną formę za pomocą technologii druku 3D.
I am interested in combining decoration with structure and in seeking new forms for motifs rooted in culture. Each bag is a distinct object, yet together they tell a story about the possibilities of contemporary design and 3D printing.
